The Historical Romance Easter Egg Hop!

Hello Easter Egg Hunters! Our historical romance author hop runs Saturday, Sunday, & Monday. Hop to each author's site (list below) to find their egg. While you are there, make sure to follow, like, and sign up for their newsletter to stay up to date on their author happenings and new releases!

Once you find all the eggs, e-mail the list to Heather@HeatherMcCollum.com to be entered into the random giveaway for a $150 gift card. Winner will be announced on Tuesday 4/14/20.

To keep track of which egg belongs to each author, here is a worksheet to print off (or view) to help. https://docs.google.com/…/11dd8EURMtjwnL_H8tkHfvbHjlA…/edit…
You can:
1) draw a line between them (you may want to print & tape pages together), or
2) write the author’s name next to their egg, or
3) write the number of the egg next to the author’s name.

Here is the links for 29 authors. Happy Hopping!

Stay safe, stay healthy, read a free book!

These are uncertain and frightening times, for sure. I know anxieties are high, but I do love that so many people and institutions are stepping up to keep us informed, entertained and engaged. I know I'm reading more—it's always been my best escape. In that spirit, I gave all of my newsletter subscribers a free digital copy of An Unexpected Encounter.

This book is special to me because I love the grumpy, scientist hero and the heroine determined not to be pushed into anyone else's plans for her life.  It's also extremely significant to me because it was the first time I put Hestia Wright on the page.  It took eleven stories for her tale to be told in full, and this was where it all began!

If you are not a newsletter subscriber, then you can join now and you'll be entered to win a copy of An Unexpected Encounter, and you'll get to see all of the cover reveals, first peeks, games, historical tidbits and special contests that come with it!  Enter and subscribe here:  http://www.debmarlowe.com/contest.html

In the meantime, everyone please be careful, take care of each other and stay safe!  And as always, Happy Reading!

New Year! New Series!

Love Me, Lord Tender was a novella that was first pubbed in the anthology, It Started With a Whisper. It is the spring board for A Series of Unconventional Courtships! Nothing But a Rakehell is book number two. Both of these are coming out on January 20. They are hitting preorder availability now!
Kiss Me, Lady, One More Time is the third book and will be out later this year. I'm pretty excited about this series and am having fun with it. I hope you guys will love it!

Debutantes fear him. Their mamas shun him. And it’s all the fault of that gossip-monger, Lady X.
William Grey, Lord Tensford, has an old title and an empty purse. He knew it would be difficult to find a Society bride, but after Lady X heeds baseless rumor and brands him Lord Terror, it’s next to impossible.
Until he comes to the aid of Lady Hope Brightley, who staunchly defends him to the ton, causing Lady X to re-dub him Lord Tender.
It’s no improvement. Now he’s a laughing stock as well as a fortune hunter. But Lady Hope means to repay his kindness by helping him to find a bride. But in the end, will she turn him over to the perfect mate? Or ask him to . . . Love Me, Lord Tender?

Lady Glory Brightley was dreading her sister’s house party—until she discovers an early guest mired in a bog.  She pulls the Earl of Keswick free—and then goes to great lengths to hide her limp from him.  Is it too much to ask, just once, to be seen and treated as everyone else?

Keswick has come to Gloucestershire to hide—from an overzealous debutante, from his father, perhaps even from himself.  He bonds with Lady Glory as a fellow misfit—her limp is nothing compared to the wounds he hides.  They pledge to see each other through the choppy waters of the party, but he never expected to be caught up by this sprite of a girl—with her quick wit, stunningly fine seat on a horse and giving heart.

Not that he could ever pursue such inclinations.  For no true lady could want a man with his reputation and entanglements. Who could love a man who is nothing but a rakehell?

He’s about to find out.

A Special Giveaway celebrating Hestia Wright!

The Lady’s Lover is out on May 6, and I’m both thrilled and conflicted.  For eleven books I’ve been living in Hestia Wright’s world.  Readers have asked for her story and now it is finally her turn, but I’m going to miss her!

In my mind, Hestia is one of the light bringers.  She’s been through so much, but she’s strong and she’s managed to turn her tragedy into a drive to help others.  I’m running a special contest on my website this month to celebrate her.  I’ve gathered up things that remind me of Hestia Wright—things that are pretty, strong, and/or turn darkness to light—and I’m giving them away to a newsletter subscriber.

If you are not already subscribed, you can do so here:  http://www.debmarlowe.com/contest.html

Every newsletter comes with an unsubscribe button if you find you don’t like my combo of chat, historical tidbits and special contests.  But I hope you will and I hope you’ll join me and Hestia on her amazing journey!
