The Earl's Hired Bride!

So thrilled to have a new release!  The Earl's Hired Bride is on pre-order, and releasing on November 21!

Because an unmarried Earl must be in want of a bride . . .
Every debutante in the ton wants to be the Countess of Hartford—and mistress of Hartsworth Castle. Never mind that Hart has no interest in marrying just yet, the young ladies hunt him as ruthlessly as a pack of hounds after the elusive fox. What he needs is a hired bride—one who is guaranteed to call it off at the end of the Season.

Because a girl with no prospects will do what she must to help her family . . .

Miss Emily Spencer must do something. Her mother’s health is failing and the notorious Duke of Danby is growing dangerously close. Why not hide in plain sight and pretend to be the Earl of Hartford’s betrothed? And getting paid for her troubles? It’s just what she needs to make her family comfortable again.

Because love comes when you least expect it . . .

Sparks fly when the two put their plan in motion—and deeper emotions grow. But how can they be together when the path they’ve forged only leads to their inevitable separation?

Historical Romance Retreat 2016!

I was thrilled and honored to be invited to participate in the first ever Historical Romance Retreat.  We all had high hopes for this conference-and Renee Bernard and Delilah Marvelle delivered even more than we had imagined!

HRR was held in Spokane in September and it was a HUGE hit with authors and readers.  The Historic Davenport Hotel was the setting for our glorious taste of the past,  and we were wowed by the amazing attention to detail and the company of lovely readers who love the genre as much as the authors who write it.  We had a roaring twenties reception, a movie in a historic theater, a high-tea, a Regency gaming night, an absinthe and historic drinks party, a book signing and a grand ball!

Fast friends were made and a fabulous time was had by all—if you get the chance to sign up for the next one, I highly recommend it!

Her father inherited an earldom and a castle. Has Lady Tamsyn inherited a curse?

It's what it feels like when she discovers that she can see the truth behind the lies that men tell.

All she wanted on arrival at Keyvnor was to avoid Mr. Gryffyn Cardew, but in a sea of lies, he is the one who always tells her the truth.

Together they find that her curse might just be a gift—and their love the key to preventing a tragedy.

Would you like to meet our characters?  Here's a fun peek at Tamsyn and Gryff.  You can also go to www.DebMarlowe.com to read an excerpt!

I hope you enjoy this fun series and my version of a Cornish fairy tale!

Ready to 'Fall' into a Regency series?

I'm very excited to announce a new series of Regency books coming this Autumn!

Greetings,
In regards to the Matter of the un-entailed Estate of the late-Jonathan Hambly, 10th Earl of Banfield, be advised that your attendance is urgently required at the reading of his lordship’s Last Will & Testament, to take place on November 1st of this year at Castle Keyvnor in Bocka Morrow, Cornwall.
Regards,
Mr. Timothy Hunt, Esq.

When the late-Earl of Banfield’s distant relations descend upon Bocka Morrow, they’ll find gypsies, witches, pixies, smugglers, and one very haunted castle. And if they’re lucky, they might just fall in love while they’re there.

I have a story in Bedeviled, entitled LADY TAMSYN AND THE PIXIE'S CURSE.  It's a tale of sorcerers, magic, pixie curses and True Love!

Pre-orders are available now!

It would be soft, her skin, should he touch it. Incredibly lush and smooth against him, like the plump petals of a rose. And her hair--he'd like to let it fall pin by pin, until it ran in any endless ebony river through his fingers.
He'd got so used to repressing every strong emotion that he barely felt them anymore. Until now. The urge to reach out and yank her hard against him nearly left him unbalanced. He wanted to cradle her and protect her from the cruelty of the world and her own folly. He wanted to ravish her mouth, steal her soft, sweet breath and brand her with the heat of his desire.
He couldn't do any of it, of course. Shouldn't do any of it. This girl had enough pain heading her way, the last thing she needed was for him to add to it. So he did the safe thing. The right thing. He pricked her. Poked her like he was a spoilt, bored boy at church and she was the unlucky girl in the pew ahead.
"That kiss didn't mean a damn thing."
Surprise had him snapping his mouth shut. That hadn't been what he meant to say at all.
"Certainly not," she murmured. Her gaze never left the window.
Certainly not.
Exactly the response he needed. So why did it irritate the hell out of him?
